GLOBAL ACADEMY 

Global Academy wis an academic program that boosts your curriculum and knowledge by providing global courses taught in English and Spanish taught by international visiting faculty from our partner universities and companies worldwide. This program allows you to expand your network by interacting with the international faculty and UTEC students.

UTEC Global Academy highlights:

  • ►Digital global certificate from UTEC issued by the Internationalization Office at UTEC

  • ► Synchronous (online), blended and in person (face to face) classes

  • ► Global courses teaching in English and Spanish

  • ► Earn credits that could be recognized at your home university (for exchange students in the semester 2023-2 August - December at UTEC)

  • ► By agreement, international students are exempt from paying for the courses of this program.

  • ► Expand your network

  • Alemania | Argentina | Canada | Chile | Colombia | Ecuador | France | Spain | United States of America

 

Terms and conditions:

  • ► By selecting a course, you agree to take that course from start to finish. 

  • ► Maximum number of global courses in which you can participate: 2.

  • ► Withdrawals or course(s) changes are not allowed. (Before starting your official registration, make sure you have no impediment to be part of Global Academy).

  • ► Each global course consists of 2 credits and depends on your home unviersity if they recognized them or not.

  • ►Each course must reach a minimum quota of pre-registered students for its opening. We will notify by email if your chosen course has reached this quota.

  • ► For those students who decide to enroll in an in person course, they must cover their flight ticket, insurance, stay and expenses in Peru.

  • ► Attendance to classes, whether virtual, blended or in person, are mandatory.

Eligibility

International students from partner universities:

  • ► Participants must be current undergraduate students from partner universities and be in their 2nd year of their undergraduate program. 

  • ► Participants in Global Academy must verify to not have a conflict scheduled in their home university.
