Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC) kindly invites international faculty from partner and non-partner universities, and renowned experts from companies around the world, to apply for its “UTEC Global Academy” to be held on July 31 - August 12, 2023 under 3 modalities:
- ► ONLINE(SYNCHRONOUS ONLINE)
- ► BLENDED (1ST WEEK ONLINE AND 2ND WEEK FACE-TO-FACE)
- ► FACE TO FACE (2 WEEKS FACETOFACE CLASSES)
Language of lectures: You can choose between English and Spanish

Applicants Profile
Applicants must submit a portfolio with evidence of:
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Resume
- Lecture proposal following the UTEC syllabus format in English or Spanish
Applicants with experience in teaching and research are expected to teach one global course of 32 hours for undergraduate students, alumni and international students from Monday to Friday, during the time blocks provided and following UTEC’s teaching style. The final selection of participants will be done by the Chair of each academic department of UTEC.
Conditions of the program
- 13 courses will be selected: 2 online and 11 in face to face or blended modality
- Priority will be given to the gender quota
- In the following form you may indicate two options for your ideal schedule and UTEC will give you your final schedule to avoid scheduling conflicts
- For your syllabus you must have in consideration the UTEC competences chart
- Faculty who teaches in the blended or face-to-face format must have a passport valid for 6 months since the date of the program
- It is responsibility of the Faculty to know if they require a visa to enter to Peru
- In the case of face-to-face option B or blended modality, the professor must apply for a business visa and UTEC will give them the facilities.

- Digital Certificate of participation as Visiting faculty.
BLENDED (1ST WEEK ONLINE CLASSES AND THE 2ND WEEK FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES)
- Teaching flat rate for synchronous online lecture.
- Global coverage for accommodation and travel expenses for in-person Visiting faculty.
- Meeting with academic departments for research and academic activities.
- Digital Certificate of participation as Visiting faculty.
- Travel Insurance for in-person visiting faculty.
- Integration activities for in-person visiting faculty.
FACE TO FACE - OPTION A (2 WEEKS FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES)
- Global coverage for accommodation and travel expenses for in-person Visiting faculty.
- Meeting with academic departments for research and academic activities.
- Digital Certificate of participation as Visiting faculty.
- Travel Insurance for in-person visiting faculty.
- Integration activities for in-person visiting faculty.
Note: Under this modality there is not included a teaching rate, it just includes the global coverage for accommodation, travel expenses and travel insurance for two weeks.
FACE TO FACE - OPTION B (2 WEEKS FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES)
If you will be staying in Peru during the dates of the program, UTEC just cover:
- Teaching rate per hour for face to face lecture.
- Meeting with academic departments for research and academic activities.
- Digital Certificate of participation as Visiting faculty.
- Integration activities for in-person visiting faculty.
Note: Under this modality UTEC doesn't cover flight tickets, accommodation, insurance or any other expenses that could exist. It just includes a teaching rate per hour for the 32 hours.
