Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC) is a private, non-profit university dedicated to education and research. It was conceived and sponsored by some of the top economic groups in Peru. From its inception in 2012, the founders have had the vision and desire to disrupt the status quo by educating a new generation of holistic and global engineers in Peru for the world and to help tackle the world’s most pressing challenges through rigorous fundamental and applied research projects and innovation.

Academic Calendar. The academic year is divided into two semesters of 16 weeks (First term | Spring from March from to July and Second term | Fall from August to December  These also include one week for students’ final examinations, at the end of each semester. Summer term is comprised of 8 weeks of classes and runs during January and February.
